In view of further reorganization of company operation, we are merging Sales and Marketing Departments under one umbrella. Previously each department operated independently, with team managers reporting directly to Skalfa top management. To streamline the work of the departments and improve internal communication, both teams will now work towards one common goal, under the leadership of the Sales & Marketing Department Head John Awbrey.
In the past, best business practices dictated that the Sales and Marketing departments should be totally separate entities within the company. However, in recent years such worldview is increasingly considered outdated. The evolution of the market and customers’ buying habits dictate a very tight integration of the teams. Essentially, they should work towards the same goal of building customer trust, while creating urgency through available content and other tools.
